We emphasize the importance of local and organically grown produce, whole grains, high-quality proteins, plant based fats, and water. The proportions of each and the portion sizes are important.

Primary Food

We are what we eat. True. But for a sense of complete nourishment and wellbeing, our lifestyle is actually of PRIMARY importance. How are our relationships? Do we have a fulfilling career? Are we physically active? Do we have a sense of spiritual connection?

Bio-Individuality

We are all unique with our own food and lifestyle needs. One person’s food is another person’s poison is an important principal to understand. Diet should be looked at as a sustainable way to eat the right foods for YOUR body! It’s not a temporary fad diet we’re looking at! It is a lifestyle change that we often need.

 

Crowding out

When we know which foods or drinks we need to cut out, we don’t try to take out all at once. That’s too difficult. Instead we concentrate on eating and drinking more of the foods that ARE good for us. We will then naturally have less room and desire for the unhealthy foods. Simply put, you will “crowd out” the unhealthy food in your diet. Little by little – at your own pace.
